Nick and Boston, were adopted by a wonderful couple, Millan & Debbie of Churchville, Nova Scotia!  They flew to Ontario, and rented an SUV to drive back home to Nova Scotia with their new adoptees.  These puppy mill brothers are very very lucky to have such a devoted and loving home.  Thank you Debbie & Millan!

June 7, 2010 Hello Kimberly, We arrived home to Nova Scotia on Wed.  May 19th.  The drive was really nice with our new boys.  They have settled in soooo well.  We lost both our labs Mac and Molly in 2009.  Molly was 11 1/2 and Mac 10. They were my babies and everyone who knows me new that they meant everything to me.  I was heartbroken for many many months and didn't know if I could ever have any other dogs.   I truly feel finding Nick and Austin was "Kismet" ... as your site says, "fate or destiny".  I believe they were born and rescued by you especially for us.  I  searched in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick to locate two labs that needed to stay together.  Heaven only knows why I chose to search in Ontario.  But low and behold I found your site and the two young brothers that needed to stay together.  I feel they were destined to be with us.  I can only hope you continue your work in rescuing these puppy mill dogs, as these two have given me and Millan a joy we thought we would never have again.  God Bless you and the work you do.  We will always be grateful to you for giving us the opportunity to adopt our boys. We will think of you and recommend your dog rescue whenever possible. Millan and Debbie Fraser, Nova Scotia

Heidi, was rescued from an Amish puppy mill, and was in terrible shape when she came into rescue.  She is living live to the fullest now, and has put her horrible past behind her!  Thank you Nicole & Trevor!

May 27, 2010  Hi Kim,  Things have been going great with Heidi! She and the cat are best pals, and our bed couldn't get any fuller :) Heidi has had several new experiences since coming home.... she has been to the beach, she has been on a few 5k walks, she went to a cottage for the weekend and enjoyed her time on the boat, and she has experienced a few campfires. She loves other doggies, but she never barks at them. In fact, the only time that we have heard her bark is when someone knocks on the door. She loves the cat's toys, which has started a few jealousy issues in the house haha. Her favourite treats are cheese and any meat imaginable. She is definitely getting spoiled with a new winter coat (which she needed when the weather was so bad a few weeks ago), a snuggie, a sweater, and lots and lots of attention. We couldn't have asked for a better dog!!! We will definitely be bringing her by for a visit the next time that we are in town. Thanks for everything!!! Nicole & Trevor Oshawa, Ontario

Paxton, was rescued from an Amish Puppy Mill here in Ontario. He was a very shy little guy when he came into rescue, but he has flourished into a beautiful boy with lots of spirit! Thank you William & Jamie for choosing to adopt!

April 16, 2010 Hi Kimberly, Hope all is well out at Kismutt Land! Paxton is an amazing little dog, a total suck and full of love! He does have an affection for wires though, and has rendered our stereo and several lamps temporarily useless, but otherwise he's settling in great and everyone is happy :0) We had the attached pictures taken a few weeks back, so wanted to share with you. If you are able to get them up on your site, please let me know! Thanx and take care, William and Jamie Brantford, Ontario

Othello, now named Quincy, was rescued from an Amish Puppy Mill here in Ontario. He spent his entire life in a cage and had never seen the light of day. He has learned sooooo much in such a short time. Way to go Quincy!

April 7, 2010 Hi Kimberly, Just a note to let you know how well Quincy is doing! He is fully house trained and is full of spirit...he listens to my commands...stay, lie down, no,.....he is learning so fast .....he loves the car and knows the sound of my keys....ready to go any time....he plays with his toys in the car and sleeps....he is now used to the leash and will walk with me. He knows the word "bedtime" and races to the bedroom. He loves everyone he meets...that includes people and other animals. He is a happy little fellow and loves his treats!! He does not let me out of his sight for more than few minutes....he must know where I am at all times :) He is a gorgeous little guy and I love him so much......I am so happy with my new little friend! Sincerely Judy, Cambridge,Ontario

Clementine, now named Sammi, was rescued from an Amish Puppy Mill. He had never seen the outside of his crate in a dark barn where he lived his first 3 years of life. He was very malnourished and sickly when he came into rescue. Today he is the picture of health. Thank you Sandra and Michael for giving Sammi the home he deserves!

April 5, 2010 Hi Kimberly, It's been 7 weeks since we adopted our precious little Sammi. He is doing very well in our home - he's quite frisky, enjoys playing with our little girl "Zoe", he is eating well. He's coming along well with house training. I'm home all day so I can get him out every 2 hours, either for a walk or out in the patio. He loves the patio!! I bought one of those dog carriers - Sammi and I go for 30 minute walks almost every day - I carry him in the carrier for the first 15 minutes of the walk, then he walks the rest of the way home. When it was cold and snowy he stayed in the carrier wrapped in his little blanket - he was quite pleased to be in the carrier - so cute!!!! Even though his fur is still short, I groom him every day and brush his little teeth (of course, he gets a treat for all this fuss and attention). Thank you very much for the opportunity of adopting this sweet little dog. We love him so much. He is definitely a lap dog, loves attention and lots of cuddles. Wishing you all the best! Sandra and Michael Mississauga, Ontario

Elwood, was rescued from an Amish Puppy Mill here in Ontario. He is a whole new doggie!! You look so handsome Elwood!

Jan 15, 2010 Hi Kimberly, We wanted to give you an update on Elwood. We adopted him in February of last year and everything has been perfect! Elwood is a wonderful dog and we are so happy to have him in our lives. We've attached a couple shots from the ever growing Elwood portfolio and a more detailed letter about Elwood. We look forward to many more happy years with him. Thanks for everything you've done! Best regards, Matt and Valerie London,Ontario

September 9, 2009 Being part of rescuing a dog was important to our family.  We didn’t know it was going to be such a journey.  With the help of Kimberly from Kismutt it was a huge success.  Kimberly makes it her business to make sure you have the dog’s best interest at heart, and that you educate yourself about what it takes to love and care for a dog.  It was Kimberly's caring attitude that helped us decide to adopt a dog from Kismutt.  We are now the proud owners of a Bichon/Lhasa Apso/ Poodle cross named Yogurt. Our daughter is very proud and happy that she took part in adopting a dog from Kismutt. Yogurt is teaching my daughter some very important lessons already, she feeds him, cleans up after him, and walks with us after supper. Thank-you Kim for all your helpful advice when we came to pick up Yogurt.  Joan, Bill & Kristen Brantford, Ontario

Dolly, was rescued from puppy mill here in Ontario where she had spent her whole life.   Dolly was adopted by the Parent family of Hamilton, Ontario.  Thank you Agnieszka, for adopting Dolly and giving her the life she deserves!

August 22, 2009 Hi Kimberly, Just a quick update on Dolly.  She's doing amazing!!  She has completely come out of her shell and has everyone of us wrapped around her little finger.  She's walking on a leash beautifully now, all it took was a flexi leash because it's out of her eye sight and she heals like a champ.  She's learned to climb the stairs, eats like a porker and has not had one accident in the house!
Her and Yogs are best friends; they're always together.  Whenever Yogs is napping, Dolly will lay down beside her and lean her head on Yogs... it's tooo cute!  Thank you so much for rescuing Dolly! Agnieszka Parent

Keeper, was rescued from an Amish Puppy Mill here in Ontario.  Of course I recognise him!! Thank you Judy and John for giving him a wonderful home!

August 18, 2009 Hi Kimberly, Do you recognize this dog?  Isn't he still the cutest little creature? Once again, thank you to Kim for all the great work you do, rescuing these wonderful dogs and finding them their forever homes. With admiration and respect, Judy and John Teather

Payton, now named "Casey", adopted by the Moore family in St. Clair, Michigan, USA.   Payton was rescued from an Amish Puppy Mill here in Ontario.  He was a very shy and timid little guy, but not anymore!

August 6, 2009 Hi Kimberly, I am attaching some photos I took of Madison and Mitchell and (they chose a different name) Casey. Our first night was awesome!  I could not believe it, he slept through the night and did not make one noise!  He is such a great dog!!  The cats even like him   He also has not had an accident in the house yet. He has had a busy first day at our house.  The last photo was just taken and he is sleeping.  Thank you again for rescuing Payton, and letting us adopt him. Kathleen, Dan, Madison and Mitch
